The most honest Cart Launch reviews come from dealers sitting in their own showroom, on camera, with the numbers in front of them. Stephen runs Mr. Golf Cart, a small golf cart dealership in West Palm Beach, Florida. Going into 2026 he sold seven, six, then seven or eight carts a month in what should have been his busiest season. After launching with Cart Launch he sold a cart almost every day in April, matched his best month ever, and sold about 25 new carts in a little over 30 days. He is now opening a second location. This is a 34-minute interview condensed to what he said, in his words, with nothing added. How we work with other dealers around the state is on golf cart dealer marketing in Florida.
Who is Stephen and what does Mr. Golf Cart look like?
A small store in an industrial park, off the main road, selling premium new carts.
“We’re a smaller business and we carry a premium product that costs a lot more. It’s harder to sell a car that’s a lot of money.”
“I’m on an industrial area. I don’t have people driving by the store. I don’t even have golf carts out on the road. We’re not even on a main road. So it was never in my mind that people were going to find me that way. I knew I was going to have to do something on the internet.”
His tagline is “delivering smiles,” and he means it. “If you could imagine any other job where the end result is, I’m pulling up with one of these beautiful cars, lights are on, they got the family out front all ready to go. That’s a great feeling.”
What were sales like before Cart Launch?
Spotty, and going the wrong way in the months that matter most in Florida.
“Before signing up with you guys it was spotty. Around December we had probably our best month we’ve ever had. I was doing Facebook ads and Google ads and stuff like that. It was hit or miss.”
“Our numbers had kind of tanked in January. We had really bad weather in Florida and I only did like seven cars. February, six cars. How do you go from 16 to six? March, seven, eight cars.”
“I felt like I wasn’t reaching high quality customers. I was getting a lot of ‘is it still available,’ people kicking tires. I wasn’t getting that customer that was ready to buy. We were just kind of slinging stuff at the wall and seeing what would stick.”
What had he tried before?
Showing up, Marketplace, and paid ads he could not see into.
“Just being here. I show up. It’s not enough. We did a little bit of Marketplace, we posted some ads, did pretty well with that. Google, we’re paying for our subscription, did some Google ads with them, but so blurry, they really don’t even know what I’m doing. They take the money off the credit card and that’s that.”
What does he say in his Cart Launch review about the results?
April is the month he keeps coming back to.
“We went from 7, 8, 7, and then the first seven days of April we sold a car almost every single day. By the seventh or eighth day of April we had already matched our totals from the last month. Then we doubled what we did the month before. We were at 14, 15 cars sold and delivered going into our slow season.”
“April, we had almost as good a month as December, our best month ever. We only missed it by one.”
Then May, which is not supposed to be a good month in South Florida. “May is definitely not a busy month in Florida. Our customers have gone north. And here I am six, seven cars into the first five or six days. We’re selling a car almost every single day.”
“In 30-some-odd days we’d sold almost 25 cars. New cars. We weren’t giving the cars away. We were selling them for the fair price.”
Asked what percentage he was up: “Double. Reality, double.”
And the problem he has now: “I sold all of my four-seaters on a Saturday. All of them. I’m fearful that we’re gonna run out of cars. Different problem, and I love that problem.”
What changed on his website?
He did not know it was the problem until we walked him through it.
“To be honest, I really didn’t realize that my website was kind of junky. You were very kind the way you worded it. I went in there after talking with you and I saw what you meant. People couldn’t get to me from my website. They had to search for things and scroll.”
What the new site does that the old one did not: “On this website, there’s pricing. The price is listed plain and clearly. If they want to do a calculator to see what their payments would be, they can do all that from the comfort of their house, 10, 11 o’clock at night. When they come in they’re not going, ‘I didn’t think this car was going to be that much.’ They pre-qualify themselves.”
“I was getting credit apps before the customer even came in. I’ve never had that before. Customer filled out the app, came in, looked at the car he wanted, the one he saw on the website, drove it, they bought it.”
“I get email notifications consistently every single day. Here’s a lead. It tells me what they were looking at, the exact model, the color, sometimes a note.” Before? “I had nothing. I wasn’t getting any leads. They either called me or I didn’t hear from them.”
That is what we mean by an online showroom, and it is the whole argument behind the golf cart dealer websites we build. Every cart on its own page, with the price and a way to act on it, working at 11 at night while the dealer is asleep.
What was he skeptical about at first?
Not much, and he says why.
“My only concern was the price, because I was pretty sure I wanted to do it.” Then the call. “The video call really calmed me down. I liked how you went literally step by step. You answered all my questions. You didn’t shy away from any of my difficult questions, because we don’t want to waste money. Golf cart business is very competitive.”
On age: “You’re a younger guy and you’re going to get that heat a lot. That doesn’t mean younger guys don’t know stuff. You guys probably know a lot more about the internet and how to reach certain people.”
What stood out about working with Cart Launch?
That we did the work, on site, and he did not have to be the star.
“One of the things that really stood out to me was you guys were the star in the movie. When you came out here you were doing all the work. All I had to do is bring the cars out and say, help yourself, guys. I’m busy, I’m trying to run a company, we’re hiring people. I didn’t have to be in the movie.”
“They said they were going to do these things. They actually did them. Actually flew here, got to know us, got to know our golf carts. The first round of videos, I was blown away. A lot of my friends are competitors and a lot of them have reached out to me: who are you using? Because my stuff looks different, looks better.”
On the reporting: “Aaron would send me this screen-recording video and go line by line through our statistics, click-throughs, how we were doing, what we were targeting, who was responding. I could watch it when I got home from work.”
How does it feel now, and what about the second location?
“There’s a strange confidence when you sell a lot of golf cars and you keep selling them deep into the beginning of summer. I have a weird confidence, a sense of comfort knowing that this system we implemented is working. So much so that I want to do more with you.”
On the new store: “We’re getting ready to open a second location, and it’s nerve-wracking. In February, March I was nervous. Now I feel totally confident, to have April and May look the way they have in just a short amount of time. It’s mind-bending.”
“I’ve already started making money with this program. A lot of money. And I’m reinvesting that: more inventory, the store, the marketing.”
Customers notice too. “We’re starting to get people come in and say, ‘I saw your ad two or three times, are you following me around on social media?’ And I’m like, not intentionally, but if you’re still looking for a golf cart, we’re happy to help you.” And: “I’m already getting referrals off of some of those people that bought from us.”
Who does Stephen say Cart Launch is for?
“Anyone that knows deep in their heart that they need help. They know their website’s not right. They know they’re not getting the volume of calls they should be. They know they have a great product. If you’re passionate and you want to grow your company, it’s an absolute no-brainer.”
“There’s no other way to grow your business except hope. I think you should have hope, but you need something else. I need systems.”
“Someone who’s seen they’re losing market share. Drive in these neighborhoods, you’re going to see them driving other brands. Someone’s doing a good job in there.”
What would he tell a dealer reading Cart Launch reviews right now?
“Give Zach a call. Get on the video conference. Let him do his spiel. Don’t run the call. I normally like to run things and I just allowed you to run me through a system I know nothing about. Listen to what he says and trust the process. A lot of us small business owners like to do everything ourselves. Allow Zach and Aaron to do that.”
“If you’re a smaller business trying to get a leg up, you cannot do it by yourself. I don’t have the skill set. Why am I pretending to? I’d rather just hire you guys. You were upfront with me on everything. There was never a surprise. Trust is a huge thing in our business.”
“I wish I had known you guys a year ago. I know how much ground I lost during that period of time, and we’re gaining it again.”
In one sentence: “It’s simplified the ability to get high-quality, pre-qualified customers.”
